Daniel Teige (*1977) works as a project manager and creative director on large-scale audio scenography projects, contemporary music, sound art and theatre projects. His interest lays in developing interactive and generative audio environments using multichannel sound systems. He is familiar with contemporary electroacoustic music, being a renowned expert and performer of the electronic music of the composer and architect Iannis Xenakis and has gained himself a recognition as a lecturer at international music festivals and universities. He has worked on multiple art projects with artists like Matthew Barney, Jonathan Bepler, Sasha Waltz & Guests and others. The interactive installation FLUIDIC Sculpture in Motion, for which he developed the generative audio design, was awarded Best of Best at the 2013 ICONIC Awards, the Red Dot Communication Design Award 2013, the German Design Price 2014 as well as the Scenography Award DER RAUM. Since 2008 he has been working as a sound-designer and project manager for Idee und Klang.
